Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of manicuring and packaging products within the facility
  • Assemble, package and label multiple company products
  • Follow written instructions to ensure products are assembled and packed in accordance with customer specifications
  • Maintain proper documentation throughout all operations
  • Maintain SOP productivity continuously, as per the standard
  • Follow directions by Management regarding performance, attitude, attendance, and general productivity
  • Ability to complete accurate data entry and documentation
  • Maintain safe & clean work environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in assembly, packaging, or production/manufacturing facility
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Post-secondary education in related field of Agriculture/Horticulture preferred
  • Previous work experience with Cannabis Licensed Producer considered an asset
  • Experience in a post-harvest or inventory management environment preferred
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
  • Fluent written and verbal skills in Portuguese and English
  • Must be able to carry out often repetitive tasks at a continuously high level of quality
  • Passionate about the Medical Cannabis Industry
  • Positive attitude with a team spirit

Harvest Assistant

  • Responsible for assisting with overall cultivation within the facility from seed to cure
  • Will conduct all aspects of propagation
  • Maintain sanitation procedures in production areas
  • Maintain record keeping documents used to track all stages and aspects of cultivation
  • Perform maintenance upkeep on equipment used
  • Oversee the complete drying process and ensure the dried product meets required specifications
  • Schedule all post-harvest activities to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion; sensitivity to confidential matters is required

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution pertaining to high-level strategies of the HR department
  • Develops new recruitment strategies and oversees staff benefits while adhering to respective legislation and governance

  • Works closely with CFO to develop human resources operational financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, anticipating requirements, trends, and developing action plans.
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values
  • Complies with governing legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as Human Resources Manager or relevant role
  • Degree preferably in human resources or business-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources department
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills
  • Familiar with the laws, labour market, hour, and wage regulations
  • Understanding of business functions such as Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation, HR, IT, Marketing etc. is considered an asset
  • Fluent written and verbal skills in Portuguese and English
  • Passionate about the Medical Cannabis Industry
  • Positive attitude with a team spirit

Cultivation Manager

  • Supervise/ monitor Cannabis production related activities
  • Recruit, Train and Manage a Production team of Cultivation Technicians
  • Ensure personnel development and performance management planning for all direct and indirect reports, including ongoing proficiency training and smooth on-boarding of new employees

  • Drafting and implementation of projects in compliance with current legislation

  • Maintain all records related to production, sale and distribution of Cannabis
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Production, and other functional departments to ensure Cannabis production process and product compliance

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial grow experience or professional equivalency
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management and leadership
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in horticulture, agriculture engineering and/or manufacturing field
  • Advanced knowledge of current Cannabis Laws and Regulations
  • Focused, dedicated, professional approach with high attention to detail
  • In depth knowledge of soil, growing methods, micronutrients, beneficial bacteria, and nutrient implementation.
  • Experience and technical knowledge in product moisture level controls during production, curing, and packaging states of medical Cannabis products
  • Previous work experience with a Licensed Producer (LP) is considered as an asset
  • Strong Agricultural background in a GAP and HACCP regulated environment, with proficiency in various cultivation and plant maintenance techniques
  • Fluent written and verbal skills in Portuguese and English
  • Passionate about the Medical Cannabis Industry
  • Positive attitude with a team spirit

Quality Controller

  • Responsible for overseeing the performance of all Quality Assurance (QA) personnel, protocols, and product quality
  • Internal compliance auditor ensuring compliance with all regulatory policies and regulations
  • Ensures that the QA practices align with MMC`s strategic plan and vision
  • Recruit and train quality assurance technicians, while providing ongoing coaching to achieve quality/production targets within set timelines
  • Maintain all records related to quality, sale, and distribution of Cannabis products
  • Creates and executes product quality and yield improvement strategies
  • Assures regulatory requirements are embodied in all policies, directives, and processes
  • Maintains and improves product quality by enforcing quality assurance procedures and government/regulatory requirements
  • Executes product and compliance audits acting as the primary contact for regulators
  • Creates and updates product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing findings and trends
  • Conducts lab reporting on all products and archives all information and findings

 

Qualifications

  • Has 5+ years of experience in a similar Quality Assurance role, leading a team of professionals in a managerial capacity
  • Understanding of Cannabis Cultivation is required
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in horticulture and/or manufacturing field
  • Advanced knowledge of Cannabis Laws and Regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of Cannabis products
  • Demonstrate experience in cultivation of Cannabis or other delicate commercial crops
  • Expert knowledge in plant disease and pest mitigation
  • Focused, dedicated, professional approach with high attention to detail
  • Must follow policies and contribute towards the goal of achieving production targets within set timelines
  • In depth knowledge of soil, growing methods, micronutrients, beneficial bacteria, and nutrient implementation. Experience and technical knowledge in product moisture level controls during production, curing, and packaging states of medical Cannabis products
